Argentina’s on track to producing 70% more oil: Driven by the Vaca Muerta shale basin, oil production is projected to rise 70% and gas output 40–45% by 2030.

HK overtakes Switzerland as the world’s wealth hub: It is now the largest cross-border wealth-management center, with 60% of flows originating in mainland China.

Emerging markets are outperforming the S&P 500: The MSCI Emerging Markets index is up 48%, and its equal-weighted counterpart is up 33% over the past year, both outpacing the US benchmark.

US food prices are re-accelerating: Grocery prices are up 32% since Jan 2020, with April’s +0.7% monthly jump the largest since Aug 2022. Coffee is up 133% over the same period, and beef prices have hit record highs.
