International Container Terminal Services, Incorporated, is an international operator of common user container terminals and serves the global container shipping industry.
ICT is primarily engaged in operation, management, development and acquisition of container terminals, with total annual throughput of over 9m TEU in 2017.
Business Description
ICT operates via three geographical segments and is involved in 31 terminal concessions where it handles break-bulk cargoes and provides ancillary services such as storage, container packing and unpacking, inspection, weighing and services for refrigerated containers. It also has port development projects in 18 countries.
Its main contributor is the Asia region, comprising 53% of total revenue. ICT operates through port terminals in Asian countries that include the Philippines, China, Indonesia and docks in Australia, Japan, Brunei, and Pakistan.
The Americas contributes 31% while Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) contribute 16% of total revenue.
ICT is moving forward with multiple expansion plans. Its 2018 budget of US$380m was mainly focused on capacity expansion in Manila, Mexico, Iraq, and Honduras. Other projects include infrastructure development in Papua New Guinea and a new barge terminal in Cavite, Philippines.
Leadership
Enrique K. Razon, Jr. has served as the Chairman and President of ICT since 1995. Moreover, he also holds the same positions at companies such as Bloomberry Resorts Corporation (BLOOM PM), Prime Metroline Holdings Incorporated, Quasar Holdings Incorporated, Falcon Investco Holdings Incorporated, and Achillion Holdings Incorporated. In 1980, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the De La Salle University in the Philippines.

Profitable Growth has fluctuated below the average level since 2015. In the past 12 months, ICT ranked in the bottom half among of 1,500 large Industrials companies worldwide.
Profitability has ranked at #6 consistently since 2016. Growth dropped to #9 in 2015 but has improved afterward.
Asset utilization has consistently ranked the worst over the years. Profit margin has been great throughout the whole period and was top-ranked in the most recent period.
Sales growth has stayed average since 2017. Margin change has been below average except in 2016.
